Thanks for this! I find this a very helpful way of looking at the materialist, occultist and mystic paths. It does seem that they are three different, self-contained worlds of experience. I've noticed that mystics and occultists can often find common language whereas it can be more difficult for either mystics or occultists to find common language with materialists. Perhaps there's a sense of comradery on walking a self-consciously spiritual path.
